Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 11 October 2024

At Cambridge Handyman, we understand that plans can change. However, we kindly ask that any cancellations be made in accordance with the following policy:

1. Cancellation Timeframe

Cancellations are allowed and can be made free of charge if we are notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
This allows us enough time to adjust our schedule and offer the appointment slot to another customer.

2. Late Cancellations

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of £30 will be payable.
This fee covers the cost of lost time and missed opportunities for other customers.

3. How to Cancel

To cancel an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email using the contact information provided below, please note a cancellation will only be accepted once you have received a written receipt or verbal cancellation back from us.

4. No-Show Policy

If you do not cancel and fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of £60 will be applicable and will need to be paid before any future services can be scheduled. We reserve the right to contact any credit reference agencies to notify them of any missed payments that are outstanding.

5. Rescheduling Appointments

We understand that sometimes rescheduling may be more convenient. If you wish to reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any charges.
Rescheduling requests within 24 hours of the appointment may be treated as a cancellation, and the cancellation fee may apply.
